Cricket in Austin

Cricket as a sport is growing rapidly in Central Texas, especially in the greater-Austin area. This growth is due in large part to the increase in population of immigrants from various South Asian countries, as well as South Africa, where cricket is very popular. There are a number of leagues in Austin and the hope is that the city will get a minor league team by 2028.
